Bearing Edges
Perhaps you've heard an old timer refer to a bearing edge as a sound edge. Next to drum head selection, nothing affects a drum's sound more than the shell's bearing edge. It's shape has a far greater tonal impact than shell material.
For a variety of reasons, factory bearing edges, especially in the 1960s and 70s, were / are hit or miss. Combine this with decades of rock'n'roll, and who knows what all in terms of care, and this makes for a drum that's difficult to tune and going out of tune easily.
Wraps / Re-wraps
Time and gigging takes a toll on wraps: uneven fading and / or darkening, cracking, bubbling and tearing at lugs due to pressure and tension, self absorbed guitar players knocking over stands and gouging our beautiful sparkle.
Perhaps you've a great sounding kit that is... white... or black... and want to spice things up.
Repair
The bass drum: the most abused of all shells. So common that we've all likely passed on a kit that looked like the above picture. If you've a drum that was too cool to pass up, but needs a little love to return to it's full glory, let us help.
Miscellaneous
We do like to go above and beyond and pride ourselves on attention to detail: removal of Ludwig pixie dust (formerly inadequate foam) and installation of felt, Gretsch "stop sign" badge just didn't look right with a new, shiny grommet so we aged it.

+ "I had a few miscellaneous drum repairs, etc. so I called Doctor Dave off of a CraigsList ad. We hit it off immediately. He offered curbside service to pick up AND drop the drums after completion. He did an absolutely stellar job on everything. Superb attention to detail, constantly communicating to be sure about the work and even included a detailed print out of all of the work that was done. Who does that?! He's a seasoned craftsman and super chill dude on top of that. Can't recommend him enough. Just what the doctor ordered!" -- Mike H., Austin, TX
